On the other hand his now Primary Designer Sandra Diamond-Byrne came into this career by way of 20 plus years traveling the globe as a Flight Attendant for a major airline, before planting her feet in Terra-firma for the duration of the last 20 years.

Sandra graduated from North Metro Technical Institute in N. Georgia. Her studies in Environmental Horticulture along with her previous education in Art was a perfect marriage of a God given talent and a passion for making man-made and nature –made blend and compliment.   Sandra also holds a certification as Master Naturalist – Coastal Module, from the University of Florida.

While enrolled and studying at N. Metro Tech. Institute, Sandra was selected to compete in ALCA’s National Student Competition sponsored by the Associated Landscape Contractors of America in which over 40 major Universities and Colleges send their most promising students to compete nationally in all things Landscape and Horticulture. Sandra placed third in the 1993 National Competition in Exterior Landscape Design and second place in the Horticultural Team Events.

After working for some large companies, like Home Depot, Valley Crest, Byrne Brothers Landscape. Sandra also spent 2007 through 2013 in Dallas, TX.  Working for North Texas Lawn & Landscape Co. in Residential and Commercial Landscape Design and Sales. Before returning to the Gulf Coast where she says she is home now!

Sandra has been creating well planned sustainable landscapes along the Gulf Coast in such notable places like Rosemary Beach, Seaside, Blue Mtn. Beach and Destin, Fl. For the last 20 plus years.

She is credited with the Master Landscape plan for the South Walton Coastal Branch Library in which she collaborated with Randy Harelson, Horticulturist from the famed Gourd Garden in Grayton Bch.

She also served on several community based environmental committees, as well as held positions such as PTO President of Seaside Charter School, PTA Vice President of South Walton High School, Organic Garden Instructor for Seaside Charter School Exploration Classes. Sandra is also an accomplished Mural Artist when she has time to pursue it. She was also chosen a featured Artist for Seaside’s famed Artist Painting the Streets ‘Via Colori’ in 2004.
